Learning is fun at Lynda.com

I just wanted to take a moment to share a great resource with all of you. Part of me wants to keep it to myself, but since they’ve been around since 1995, I know it's not a secret. I’m sure a lot of you know about and use it already; for those that don’t, Lynda.com is “a leading online learning company that helps anyone learn business, software, technology and creative skills to achieve personal and professional goals.” We mainly use it for photography and business tutorials. But, as the “About Us” section of their website says, you can learn about animation, music production, numerous software programs, and so much more.  The experts and trainers that instruct the tutorials are extremely knowledgeable in their fields. Yet, the training sessions range from beginner friendly to expertise.  If you want to learn Photoshop, you can. How about leadership or marketing skills? They’ve got that covered too. Whether you have a business, professional, or personal reason for needing to learn new skills, Lynda.com can help you. They have basic, premium and group plans. Go check out the site and see what you think. It may just be your new favorite way to start learning. And no, they’re not paying me to endorse them (though it would be nice if they did :). I’ve just really enjoyed the tutorials they offer and think many others will too. By the way, the image shows some seriously cool skills Derrick learned in Photoshop. Happy Learning! Jenny :)
